Reliability And Durability Of Glock 43 Trigger

Synonymous with reliability and durability, glock 43trigger has expanded its product line with two new compact 9mm luger pistols, the G43X and G48, at SHOT Show 2019. The Slimline models have narrower breeches and frames than the full-size Glock pistols and are ideal for concealed carry. Both pistols chambered in 9x19 are equipped with a single-row magazine for 10 rounds. Frames are the same size and have different breech lengths - the G43X is 6.06 inches and the G48 is 6.85 inches. Continuing the design of the Slimline series, the G43X and G48 models have excellent ergonomics and fit easily in the hand. The slim frame (just over an inch wide) with an almost full length of the handle contributes to a comfortable and versatile grip, allowing you to aim fire in any position. The G43x and G48 are also included in the GLOCK Blue Label program for qualified military and rescue personnel.

G43x and G48 have the same height as G19, but with a smaller width. In addition, they are equipped with a beaver-tail grip shoulder, a reversible magazine catch and a fifth-generation GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) precision barrel with a notch in the front of the breech casing. Both models also come with a 10-round magazine with a vibrant orange dispenser.

The Model 43 was the first compact 9x19 pistol from Glock to feature a single-row magazine. Compact pistols chambered for this cartridge with a single-row magazine are currently produced by a number of leading weapon manufacturers. In the USA, for example, Kahr pistols of the CW and CM series, Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Springfield Armory XD-S, in Europe - German Walther PPS and Sig Sauer P290 pistols. As of March 2015, of the entire Glock model range, the single-row magazine had only a Glock 42 chambered for 9x17. Glock chambered for 9x19 with a single-row magazine was perhaps the most anticipated model of this manufacturer among users of its products. If the Glock 42 caliber 9x17 is generally an excellent choice as a concealed carry pistol, including carrying in a pocket,

Automation works according to the scheme of using recoil with a short barrel stroke. Locking is carried out with the help of a descending breech of the barrel, which enters with its rectangular protrusion located above the chamber into the window for ejection of spent casings of the shutter-casing. The reduction occurs when the bevel of the lower tide of the breech of the barrel interacts with the protrusion of the frame. Two return springs are used. The firing mechanism of the striker type, with preliminary, partial cocking of the striker when the shutter-casing retreats back and cocking when the trigger is pressed. The length and force of the stroke prevent an accidental shot in the absence of a safety catch. Also, the trigger does not allow the shooter to re-squeeze the trigger after a misfire by trying to initiate the primer again. It is necessary to extract the defective cartridge,

The gun is equipped with three independently operating automatic fuses. The safety lever, which is equipped with the trigger, blocks its movement back and releases only when the arrow is consciously pressed. The automatic safety of the striker makes it impossible for the striker to hit the cartridge capsule in case of accidental disruption from the sear of the combat platoon. The trigger rod, with its special protrusion, raises the safety catch, which is a cylinder with a groove, and opens the way forward for the drummer. The shockproof fuse is a protrusion of the trigger rod, which has a cruciform shape, which fits into the groove of the shutter-casing. It prevents a combat platoon from falling off the whisper in case of an external strike. In practice, this design has proven to be very simple and effective. It ensures the firing of a shot in the shortest possible time and safe handling.
